Argue with it

A proposal only improves under pressure. Post a thought, reply to someone else, react — and disagreement is more useful here than assent.

Questions worth taking on

If you're looking for somewhere to start, these are the parts of the argument that are genuinely unresolved:

  • The missing elements. Carbon and oxygen never appear in the sixty-five numbers. Is there a reading that accounts for that, or does it sink the thesis?
  • The base rate. How often would a random 65-length sequence over 15 values produce patterns this tidy? Nobody has run it.
  • The row breaks. Are the five rows meaningful units, or just line wrapping?
  • Rival frameworks. Does anything else — linguistic, historical, mathematical — fit the sequence better?

House rules

  • Play the argument. Criticise the reasoning as hard as you like. Not the person making it.
  • Show your working. Counts, sources and citations carry weight. Assertion doesn't.
  • Respect belief. People here hold different convictions about the revelation itself. That is not what's under discussion, and mockery of anyone's faith will be removed.
  • No proselytising in either direction. Neither for the community nor against it.
  • Corrections get priority. If you find a factual error, say so plainly and it will be fixed on the page.
